Hi there! Today I am pleased as punch to be guesting with The Foiled Fox again! WOOT WOOT!  I adore these folks! I’ve created a trio of cards that have a beautiful Birch background stamp and some fun snowmen from the Making Frosty Friends stamp set and coordinating die.

To create the first two cards, I inked up the Birch Background stamp with just two colors of distress inks:  stormy sky and blueprint sketch. Then I spritzed it lightly with water and pressed my watercolored cardstock onto the stamp. (WITHOUT re-inking the stamp, I stamped it again onto another pieced of watercolored cardstock and the background to my second card was born – more on that in a bit).

Ornament Card with Poinsettia Blossoms

Hi there,

With Thanksgiving just passed, it is time to think of decorating our Christmas trees. So what better way to get in the mood but with an ornament card bursting with poinsettia blossoms, right?

The stamp set used is the Impression Obsession Round Ornament 2 Stamp set. It offers 2 beautiful ornament stamps to choose from.

Winter Bird Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

Here we are on the eve of Thanksgiving.  So much to be grateful for… especially you, our friends in the Crafting World!  You guys are awesome! Thank you for all your lovely comments and support – we couldn’t do it without you!

This card features a Winter Bird serenely perched on a birch tree.  I just love the effects of watercolor – so soft and lovely.  I don’t live where it snows, so a wintery scene allows me to pretend!
