Snowflake Glass Garland

Snowflake Glass Garland

Hi Fellow Crafters,

We are bursting with excitement!  We have a new, very special guest with us today.  We would like to introduce Sarita Simmonett of Little Princess Cards. Sarita creates exquisite cards and other projects.  She has such a talent to make every project simply elegant!

So, feast your eyes on this beauty and… Be the hostess with the mostess this Holiday season.

To begin, I have cut several snowflake out of white card stock, using the Penny Black Snowflake Duo Die Set. The snowflake garland was then made by gluing the snowflakes to a thin strip of card. The garland itself is not stuck to the glass, it just rests on the widest part of the glass so can be removed easily. I’ve layered the snowflakes by die cutting the smaller snowflake in card stock and inked with bronze colour ink and then layered them on top of the larger white snowflakes and added some glitter for a bit of glam.

Finally, to add a bit of Holiday cheer, I stamped a sentiment from the Penny Black Yuletide Wishes and tied it to the stem of the glass. That’s it!
