Teacher’s Appreciation Tag

Teacher’s Appreciation Tag

A quick post to celebrate teachers everywhere.  This is a cute tag to spice up your Teacher Appreciation gifties.

TEACHER APPRECIATION TAG

The tag base is die cut using Neenah’s cardstock and Neat & Tangled Classic Tag Die.  Next I cut a 2.5″ x 3″ scrap of green striped paper from the Let’s Bokeh in the Snow by Lawn Fawn, adhered it to the base.  Using the Notebook cover stamp, I stamped it on cardstock and cut a scrap and glued it on top of the green striped paper.

Next, die cut 2 – “Thanks” from black cardstock using the Impression Obsession’s Greeting Set.  Glue one “Thanks” on top of the other to add dimension.  Add a little sparkle by applying Black Wink of Stella over top the “Thanks” sentiment.

The apple was made by hand sketching the apple (check out Google for some examples), coloring with Copic Markers and applying my new favorite, Clear IrRESISTible Pico Embellisher for adding a glossy finish.  Apply a generous layer on the apple and leaf.  It will need to dry for awhile so be patient!

I hand drew the worm for fun.  It is a little goofy but it works.  The worm was colored with Copic markers then a touch of Gold Wink of Stella was applying over the top.

After the apple was completely dry  (by the way, don’t do what I always do because I am impatient and touch it before it is dry and leave a big, fat fingerprint) use foam tape on the back of the apple to pop it up, apply it to the tag.  Stick the worm on with glue dots – they work like a charm!

Viola! it’s done
