Hello Everyone,
Today is a cheerful “Hello” card that is sure to brighten anyone’s day. It features soft pinks and lovely grays and I just love the bold and bubbly “Hello” die from the Concord & 9th Say Hello dies set.
This is a simple card with an even simpler (but effective) sentiment.
I started with creating the paper to cut out the “Hello”. You can always use a patterned paper but I was looking for a certain look and I didn’t have it in my patterned paper stash. So the next best thing is to create it yourself, right?
So, I jumped in and stamped a piece of watercolor paper using the Layered Roses background stamp by Impression Obsession and Versafine Onyx Black ink, then watercolored it with various shades of pink. When dry, the “hello” was cut using the chubby hello die.
The gray background was created by using one of my favorite combinations, Sugar Wafer gray card stock and Delicata White Shimmer ink. The white shimmer ink was applied to the Confetti Dot background stamp and then the gray card stock was laid on top and smoothed down, making sure the paper has made good contact with the background stamp. After the ink was dry, a panel was cut using the largest stitched rectangle die from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Stackables and then the big ‘hello’ sentiment was cut in the center.
Ready to assemble… starting with a white card base, the confetti dot gray background panel with the cut-out hello was added to the top of the base. Since the pink cut out hello is in two pieces, the outline and the chubby hello, the outline was set and glued into the hello cut out in the gray background and the remaining big hello had two layers of foam tape applied to the back and then attached to the center.
The only left is to add a few enamel dots and you are ready to go!

High impact card!!!!! Love it. Inviting color, glitter and glam. It doesn’t get any better than that! Thank you. I am off to create my own for a special friend that needs cheering.
Very cool.
