You are in for a wonderful treat!! We are super excited to introduce and welcome a very special guest, TaeEun Yoo. Perhaps, some of you have been lucky enough to see TaeEun’s work on her blog, Rainbow in November. If you haven’t checked out her blog already, I highly recommend you rush over and see all your glorious projects – that’s of course after you see the gorgeous card she is sharing with us below. Don’t forget to get acquainted with her personally too by reading her mini bio at the end of this post.
Hi there! It’s TaeEun here. I’m so excited to be a guest at The Foiled Fox today. I’ve made a card using Full of Glee Cling Stamp from Penny Black along with Wavy Lines background stamp from Impression Obsession.
To start off I made an alcohol ink background panel. I sprayed rubbing alcohol on a glossy cardstock first and added the alcohol inks by dripping and blew on the colors through a straw. The colors I used are Flamingo, Shell Pink, Limeade, Citrus, Patina, Aqua and Snow Cap. I then gold heat embossed the Full of Glee image on it and colored the flowers using Holbein Artists Gouache. I cut out the bottom part of the panel on an angle.
The sentiment is from Extra Special stamp set by Altenew. I stamped it in StazOn black on a strip of glossy cardstock on which I colored with Shell Pink. I adhered it under the bottom edge of the colored panel. I gold heat embossed the Wavy Lines background stamp on my dark gray card base and foam mounted the front panel onto it. To finish off I added some pretty sequins.
