This is the second design in the three card mini-series using the My Favorite Things Heart Art stamp set. Yesterday was a fun shaker card. Today I am using these heart stamps as an grown-up conversation heart card design.

I love the new Stacey Yacula's stamp and die set, Joyful Heart Bears by My Favorite Things. These sets have the most charming little bears, each filled with love in their heart! And the sentiments are perfect for Valentine's Day, or any time you want to let someone know you love them. For this card design, I chose the delightful bear holding a bucket of hearts - how adorable is that?
Stunning Starry Skies by Heather Telford

It is always a special day when we get to feature one of Heather Telford's card designs. And, we are especially lucky today since she is sharing two gorgeous designs using the Concord & 9th Star Turnabout stamp and die set.
To create these beautiful designs, she is using the new watercolors from Altenew for the dreamy blue sky and black cardstock for the striking midnight sky. I am not sure which I like best, do you?

Today's adorable design is an interactive one, meaning you can lower the toast into the toaster and pop it up - how fun is that! It is made using the new Lawn Fawn toaster stamp and die set, Let's Toast.
Love You Hearts and Alcohol Inks

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and there are so many wonderful stamps and dies to help make the day even more festive. Today's card design is using a new stencil by Altenew called Flowing Hearts. I combined the intertwining arabesque design with alcohol inks and got a colorful, dimensional and artsy look.

Brilliant Blooms, Two Ways and Two Color Schemes

I started writing this post and found the explanation was getting too wordy, so... the next best thing I could think of was to create a video to explain all the ins and outs. You can view it below or on our YouTube channel.
The two card designs were made using the Brilliant Blooms stamp and die set by My Favorite Things. I have used this set before (click here to check it out) and was impressed by the versatility and beauty of the simple blossoms so decided to give it another look.
In these cards, I created a background by stamping and embossing the flowers, cut out the center and add a gracious sentiment from the Paper Artsy Eclectica3 stamp set. The left-over cut-out center was then used to create the second card.

I am happy to be back and eager to wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR and best wishes for 2019! The new year has officially begun, along with it are plans for new ideas, designs, and projects. To kick off the year, I am starting out with a card that works for any occasion. It is filled with beautiful pink blossoms from the Brilliant Blooms stamp and die set by My Favorite Things.
