Gorgeous You Florals

Gorgeous You Florals

Hi Creative Friends,

I am back again to share a sweet card design featuring a new floral die set called Gorgeous You Florals by Spellbinders. As you know, Spellbinders has many beautiful floral die set,s and this one is one of their beauties!

Quick reminder before we get into the ins and outs… last day to save 15% on tons of stamps, dies, stencils, and other awesome papercrafting goodies. Use code: 15FEB25

This was a simple card to make. It begins with cutting out the flowers and leaves in the Gorgeous You set. I used colored card stock from the new Rainbow Hues card stock collection by Spellbinders. After cutting the flowers, I added a little shading using Picked Raspberry and Villainous Potion distress inks. The leaves were also shaded with Forest Moss. The flowers were then assembled and mounted onto their stems.

Next, I cut an A2-sized card base and two A2-sized panels from white card stock. One of the panels was embossed using the Texture embossing folder by Penny Black. A scalloped circle was cut into the second panel.

I added foam to the back of the scalloped panel and then adhered it to the textured one. This whole assembly was mounted onto the front of the card base.

Now, on to the flowers… they were arranged and then mounted to the front with foam squares.

I was nearly done. The only thing left to do was to add a sentiment. I used a word die from the Vivid Sentiments die set, cut out 2 ‘hellos’ from black card stock, and then stacked and glued them together for extra strength and dimension.

A few enamel dots were added for a little extra pizazz… and that completed my card – YAY!

This was an easy and fun make! I was pleased with the results and I was especially pleased I managed to not over-complicate the project!

Thanks for coming along with me today. I hope it gave you a spark of inspiration!
