Happy Day

Hi friends! It’s Dana (IG: @dkirbystamps) here again today and I am back with two cards that use the Triple-Step Happy Day set from Concord & 9th. I am in LOVE with this set! It’s a stamp and die set that is just a delight to use!! I love a good stamp set and this one definitely fits the bill!

The Triple-Step Happy Day stamp set includes three large stamps that you combine to give you a playful and fun Oh Happy Day sentiment. The set also includes individual stamps to add patterns and small details to your card design. 

Once my basic panel was stamped I used the Triple-Step Happy Day dies to die cut the panel and add some “extra” (happy, small heart and flower) details to my card layout. The large sentiment is perfect on its own but it is fun to add a few “extras” to make the design unique. 

I used Concord & 9th ink for all of my stamping. I used Pink Lemonade, Honeysuckle, Buttercup, Honeycomb, Tidepool and Juniper. I also used Juniper cardstock for the word happy that I added to my panel. Once my panel was finished I attached it to an A2 card base with foam adhesive for a little added dimension. 

For my next card I used the same colors as above but I changed the layout by using the individual dies and stamps included in the set. There are lots of companion sentiments and individual pieces in the stamp set to give you so many options. I once again die cut my panel with the scalloped die although it will also work well to stamp directly onto your card panel for a clean and simple design.
