Tulips In Bloom

Hi Creative Friends,

I have a double treat for you just in time for Valentine’s Day. I am sharing a new video (treat #1) showcasing Penny Black’s new Flower of the Month kit starter (treat #2). This month features beautiful tulips in the Tulips In Bloom stamp and die set. I loved creating this card design using the Tulips In Bloom and the companion Rain or Shine stamp and die set.

I chose Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire to color my Wellies (gardening boots) but you can change it up with any color scheme you like. I love blue and yellow together. Since I rarely use yellow, this was a great opportunity. If you would like to take a closer look, check out the images below.

I used distress reinkers to paint the boots and flowers. I love the intense colors the reinkers give you but you can easily use the ink pads instead. A complete supply list is below for your convenience.
