Elegant Long Line Leaves
Hi Creative Friends,
I had a little play with the Kristina Werner Long Line Leaves set. There are four different sets to this series, making it super easy to make a variety of fun projects.
I made two different cards to give you a few examples of their amazing versatility!

I started with my ‘Thanks’ card. This card was a lot of fun to make and easy too.
Using Kristina Werner’s Long Line Leaves stamp and dies, I stamped a bunch of leaves using a few Concord & 9th inks: Honeysuckle, Nectar, and Eucalyptus, then cut them out with the matching dies.
I wasn’t sure what size to make the card, so I cut a few sizes from copy paper and tried them out. I settled on 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ and made a white cardstock panel and a matching card base.

Next, I mounted the white panel on top of the card base, then arranged the leaves and glued them down.
For the sentiment, I used the Concord & 9th Hello & Thanks dies. I cut the shadow from Rainforest cardstock (see supply list) and the letters from white cardstock, arranged, and glued them in place.
To finsih, I mounted the large “Thanks” using thin foam squares and added a few enamel dots for a little extra pop! All done, now on to the next card.

For the next one, I used the stencil set from the Long Line Leaves series. There are a bunch of stencils in the set. I selected the individual flowers and stenciled them onto an A2-sized Bristol paper panel (Bristol paper is great for ink blending!). The colors used were Eucalyptus and Rainforest for shading, then I used the included splatter stamps and stamped a few using Juniper ink.
To add the sentiment, I cut out “Thinking of You” from Kristina Werner’s Loved and Happy die set. The shadow was cut from Rainforest cardstock, and the words were white cardstock.

Getting ready to finish the card, I cut out an A2-sized Rainforest panel, then trimmed the stenciled leaf panel down so it would fit on top with a little green border showing, then mounted it on top. A thin cardstock line was cut using the Gift Bow setline and added to the front of the card, along with the ‘Thinking of You”. Then the whole assembly was attached to the white card base.
I hope these two examples sparked a bit of imagination and you will give you them a whirl! ♥
