Window Wishes
HI Creative Friends,
Today’s card design features a charming set by Concord & 9th. The set is Window Wishes, and it is filled with super cute accouterments. This stamp and die set has everything you need to make an extra-special card.
Below are all the ins and outs on how this card came to be but before I go, I wanted to send along a reminder that you can save 15% until midnight June 27th (tomorrow). So, hurry and grab your favorites. The coupon code is 15JUNE25

The sky is the limit when it comes to choosing color schemes. I went with the subtle approach using whites, grays, and a splash of pink.
So, let’s dive in and make an A2-sized white cardstock card base and an Antique Gray panel to cover the front. There are individual bricks you can make. I cut mine from white cardstock and lightly colored them with Black Soot distress ink using handy ink daubers. They were set aside.
Next, I cut out the window pieces in white cardstock and the window box in dark gray. I cut a double set of each of the window pieces so I could stack and glue them together for more strength. The back panel of the window was colored with Broken China distress ink, then all the pieces were assembled. To add a little more dimension to the main window, I added a piece of thin foam (see supply list). The window and shutters were set aside for now.

The next pieces to work on were the plants for the window box. The dies for these are cleverly made so that they hang over the window box. I used small scraps of colored cardstock to make mine.
The sentiment and the heart were the last things I made before assembly. I used the included arched banner, stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink, then white heat embossed it. Then, used a scrap of red cardstock to cut a few hearts. They were stacked and glued together.
To finish, the window and shutters were mounted onto the card base. A strip of foam was added to the back of the window box, then pressed into place. The plants and flowers were next.

It was time to add the individual brick we colored earlier. The sentiment and heart were the last to be added to finish the card.
The card is complete and I am a happy girl. Thanks for joining me and I hope to see you next time.
