Festive Sleigh Bells
Hi Creative Friends,
Today, I am sharing a classic holiday card complete with a big bow and sleigh bells. The Lovely Layers Sleigh Bells die set by Honey Bee Stamps features delightful sleigh bells and festive foliage, and pairs beautifully with the new Lovely Layers: Bow Bough die set.

I began this card design by cutting out the bow and foliage from three sets, each one a Lovely Layers set. The sets were Sleigh Bells, Bow Bough, and Winter Greenery. I love to color my own elements, so I used Bristol paper. It has an ultra-smooth finish, allowing the colors to blend beautifully and with ease. If you want to skip the step of coloring, this card design is equally beautiful using a variety of colored cardstock. If this is more your cup of tea, I have included the Spellbinders assorted cardstock pack in the supply list below.

After all the pieces were cut and colored, I assembled the bow and set it aside while I cut out the bells. I used gold foil paper and matching glitter paper.
Next, I cut a 4.5″x6″ panel from dark blue “Night” cardstock, then mounted it to a matching card base,.
The foliage was arranged, then glued it in place. The bow and bells were next, popping them up with foam squares.

For the sentiment, I used “Merry Christmas” from Papertrey Ink’s Vintage Holiday Flair stamp and die set, stamped it onto white card stock using Cranberry red ink.
This completes my project for today. I hope it inspired you to create your own sleigh bell wonder. ♥
