Heirloom Hearts
Hi everyone! JB (@inkblissbyjb) here. I’m excited to be here with you all to share an A2-sized card using the fun and easy “Heirloom Heart” dies from Papertrey Ink.

I cut cardstock from the Spellbinders Colorwheel Cardstock Warm Assortment. There are a total of 5 dies in the Papertrey Ink Build-A-Bouquet set, 4 are different designs, and 1 small heart to fit in the middle of all of them if you want.
For the background, I used Ranger watercolor cardstock. Before stamping the leaves, I spritzed the watercolor cardstock with a fine mist. I love the look of this watercolor technique! I used the following Distress Inks: Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple, and Peeled Paint. I die-cut some floral pieces and loosely watercolored with a brush, using the same ink colors. Ink smooshing would be great for this, too!

I also stamped a word sentiment with Worn Lipstick and die cut it out. Once everything dried, I cut my floral panel down to 4” wide from 4 1/4 “, tied some red and white twine around the main base from my stash (red cardstock). I glued all the die-cut floral pieces and assembled my card. To finish, I added some pink pearl gems from my stash.
