Bright Spring Wishes
Hi, our crafty friends,
Pretty Pnk Posh has some new goodies that are perfect for celebrating the upcoming Spring season. One of the more iconic symbols of spring is spring flowers and a watering can, and that is just what Pretty Pink Posh has to offer.

The watering can and flowers are the stars of the show, so I started there. Using a variety of Spellbinders cardstock colors, I cut out a bunch of flowers and leaves and assembled the few bits needed. I also cut out a stack of watering can shakers from Eucalyptus carstock so I could stack and glue them together, creating room for the shaker beads. You could use foam tape to pop up the watering can, but by stacking the watering can cutouts, I avoided the beads sticking to all the edges of the tape. With the top watering can cutout, I added an acetate backing to hold the beads in. Then, I added the back full watering can to complete the shaker.
For the background, I used white heat embossing to create a dotted swiss pattern with the Kristina Werner Simple Dots background stamp on a Bellini coral cardstock panel.

The dotted-swiss background was mounted onto a slightly larger white cardstock base. Then, after cutting out an eyelct circle from white cardstock and adding a foam backing, I mounted it onto the card front.
The watering can and flowers were mounted next onto the card front. To finish, a banner strip was added by stamping a sentiment using Nocturne ink and the Easter Banner Greetings stamp. Then, the sentiment strip and its backing were cut using the new Pretty Pink Posh Banner Greetings 3 Dies.

The sentiment was mounted, and that was all there was to it
I hope you enjoyed today’s paperecrafting adventure! ♥
