Spring Blooms
Hi Everyone!
JB (@inkblissbyjb) here. I’m happy to be here today to share an A2-size card featuring the “Spring Blooms” stamp and die set at Pretty Pink Posh.
Other Products Used from Pretty Pink Posh:
Layering Water Can Floral Stencil
Easter Banner Greeting Stamps
Banner Greetings 3 dies
Notched Corner Frames (Spellbinders)

I started with the 3-layered stencil and used the following Gina K Inks:
Soft Stone
Sweet Mango, Tangerine Twist
Lemon Drop, Wild Dandelion
Light Carnation, Dusty Rose
Jelly Bean Green, Fresh Asparagus
Anytime I use a stencil, I like to go back and shade just to give variation in color and dimension. I stamped the water can & blooms with Memento Tuxedo Black to use with Copics. I switched to X-Press it cardstock for Copic coloring, and I’m really loving this cardstock for easy blending. If you haven’t used it, I highly recommend it. I’ve used it on the last 3 copic cards.

Copics Used:
Tulip – Y38, YR15
Tulip – R32, R43
Flowers – Y08, Y15
Leafs – YG03, YG23
Water can – C2, C3, C5
I tried to match the ink colors to the stencil colors. I went on to cut my layers with Spellbinders Colorwheel cardstock “Rainbow Hues” to match. Also used a layer of lightweight vellum to not cover up too much of my stenciling panel. When assembling my layers, I used thin small foam squares to partial raise the blooms to give dimension.

The sentiment was stamped with Gina K Dusty Rose and doubled-layered. I hope you enjoyed my card. All products can be found at foiledfox, com
