Let’s Have A Birthday Adventure!

Let’s Have A Birthday Adventure!

Hello Creative Friends,

We are sharing a super cute birthday card made by.our friend, Dana Kirby (IG: @dkirbystamps). She used the new Go Kart Go and Little Smiles sets from Spellbinders to create this cutie! Take a look!

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today, and I’m back with a fun birthday card that uses the Go Kart Go dies from Spellbinders. This is a set of 17 dies that create an adorable car, two critter drivers (bunny and a monkey), balloons, and lots of fun accessories.

I started my card by creating my car and balloons with the Go Kart Go dies. I used Spellbinders cardstock ( Poppy, Bellini, Tuscan, Rainforest, Cascade, and Raven) along with Papertrey Ink (Soft Stone, Kraft, and Weathervane) for all of my die-cutting. This was my first time using the new Spellbinders cardstock, and I am in LOVE!! It’s the perfect weight for both layering and card bases, and the color palette is gorgeous!! You are going to love it! I also wanted to mention there is a variety pack so you can try out the different colors in a Cool Assortment, Rainbow Assortment, and Warm Assortment, although you can also buy the colors individually.

I ink-blended my card panel with Hawaiian Shores and Green Parakeet ink. I then used the coordinating reinkers to add a few splatters. Next, I used the Road Border die from Lawn Fawn to create my road. I then used the Little Smiles Sentiments stamp and die combo set along with my BetterPress Letterpress System to create my sentiment. Lastly, I trimmed my panel down and attached it to a Poppy cardstock mat before attaching it to my A2 card base.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I hope you give these fun new dies a try!! They make the cutest cards and are sure to bring a smile to the recipient’s face.

Enjoy your day,

Dana
