Mummy Good Time

Hello Everyone! 

I am JB, and I’m happy to be here with you all today!  I’m sharing a 5X7 card using the  Mummified set at Mama Elephant.

This set is so adorable and fun!  I used most of the stamps, but 3.  I started with my base measuring 4 3/4” wide and 6 3/4” long with Spectrum Noir since I was going to use Copic markers.  I first stamped the haunted house and tombstones and masked so I could ink-blend my background.

For the sky, I used the following Distress Ink: Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot.  I splattered with water, black soot, Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust, and finally Dr. Ph Martin’s Bleed Proof White.

For the hills, I used Lawn Fawn Slimline Hills Stencils and the following Distress Ink:  Top hill Rustic Wilderness dark to light and Black Soot to darken on top and splattered with Rustic Wilderness.

For the bottom hill, I used the following Distress Ink:  Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint, and Black Soot on top and splattered with Peeled Paint.

Copic coloring:
House:  V15, V17, T6, T5, T3, E25, E57, YR31, Y17, C7, C5 and E44
Bats: T2, T3, T5
Tombstones:  C7, C5, C3
Mummy’s: E50, E51 and faces E000, E04, E11, E21, E00 back to E000
Cat: C1, C2, C3
Toilet Paper:  E50, E51
Grass:  G28, YG67, G07, YG67

I embossed the sentiment with Lawn Fawn Yeti White pigment ink and White embossing powder.  I stamped oo0oo00oo with Archival Ink Jet Black.  I raised the bats, mummies, cat, and toilet paper with thin 3D foam squares.

Then mounted on 5×7 base cardstock from Spellbinders Colorwheel Cardstock.
