Merry and Bright Birdies

Hi friends!

It’s Dana (IG: @dkirbystamps) here today, and I’m back with a Christmas card to share with you all. My card combines a few holiday die sets from Spellbinders that can be mixed and matched to give you lots of fun options and possibilities. 

I started my card by using the Little Birdies and Christmas Foliage dies to die cut the sweet little birds and Christmas greenery. I then used the Bow & Bell Scallop Frame for the card mats, Christmas bells, and bow. The Bow & Bell set includes great basic dies that give you lots of design options! I know it is a set I will be using often. I used Spellbinders cardstock for all of my die cutting. Colors Used: Poppy, Cranberry, Tuscan, Beeswax, Rainforest, Fern, Cascade, and Malibu.

Next, I used the Merry Messages press plate and die set for my sentiment. I stamped the sentiments in Poppy ink and ran it through my die cutting machine with the BetterPress Letterpress System. I then adhered my mats and die cut images together with a mixture of liquid glue and foam adhesive to create my card design. Lastly, I attached a strip of Enchanted Evening patterned paper across my card base and then attached my scallop frame to finish my card.
