Happy for Ewe

Happy for Ewe

Hi friends!

It’s Dana (IG: @dkirbystamps) here today, and I am back with two cards that use the Happy Herd set from Concord & 9th. This set includes a large stamp set that stamps the sheep faces and legs, along with a few companion stamps and sentiments, a stencil for the sheep bodies, and a small set of coordinating dies. Such a fun set to use, and I love that it can be used for a variety of occasions!

I started my card by using the Happy Herd stencil to add the flock of sheep to my card panel. I used white pigment ink and blended the bodies onto a piece of Sprout cardstock. Next, I used the Happy Herd large stamp to stamp the sheep legs and heads along with the sentiment. I used VersaFine Clair black ink for my stamping and heat-set the ink with clear embossing powder. I then used the Happy Herd dies to add a few party hats and bows to the sheep. I die cut the pieces from Ballet Slipper, Lilac, and Powder cardstock and then attached them to the sheep with liquid glue. Lastly, I used the small grass stamps (included in the Happy Herd stamp set) and Sprout ink to add a few grass details to my card.

For my next card, I used the Happy Herd dies to die cut my sheep and accessories. I attached the images to a piece of Powder cardstock and then stamped my sentiment (Happy Herd stamp set) directly onto my panel to finish my card.  I love the clean and simple design of this card.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I inspired you to give this set a try. I know you will love it! I can’t wait to recreate my cards in different colors…

Enjoy your day,

Dana
