I am popping in to share a project and how-to video using another one of the fabulous dies available in the latest Papertrey Ink release. I am using the Border Bling: Flower Frame. It has charming flowers in the corners, plus another smaller frame included.
I have been enjoying my alcohol inks lately. They are loads of fun and are sooooo colorful. Here is the video to show you how I used them to achieve bright colors and bits of gold.
Now that you have had a chance to view the video, like always, here are a few pics to give you a closer look. You can see the vibrant colors and gold foil accents peeking through the flowers. I think that makes it extra special!
I love how the frame has the stitched borders. It really completes the frame. The nice thing too is there is a great space in the middle for you to add your own motif or sentiment, I chose to add a sentiment, The lacy ‘Happy Birthday’ is a bit fiddly but I like its delicateness but of course, you can choose any sentiment or motif that you like.
I added some jewels for a little more sparkle. I think it really compliments the colors and gold foil, don’t you?
