Party Animal

Party Animal

Hi Creative Friends,

We are going to have some party fun today! These Party Animal sets by Concord & 9th are so adorable! You can use any color scheme that you love and can make it for lots of different events.

Rarely do I manage to make a fast and easy card that is as delightful as this one! I love that it IS a quick make and you can use any color combinations you like. For that matter, you can go monochrome if you like. Another bonus is that it works for any age… that’s awesome in my book!

I started with an A2-sized white card stock panel and card base. From there, I chose four colos namely: Grapefruit, Eucalyptus, Tidepool, and Honeycomb – all Concord & 9th ink colors (see supply list below). Following the stencils in the pack, I started with 1A, then ink blended the colors.

After the first stencil was done, I moved on to the second. When I finished coloring that one,  I moved on to the third stencil, continuing to color the party animals until they were complete.

When finished, I stamped a few confetti pieces using Dove gray ink. By the way, ink daubers are a real plus for adding color to the balloon animals!

Next was the sentiment. In the coordinating stamp set, there are several sentiments to choose from. I love the Party Animal one and Hooray but the strip words are great too! I stamped a few of them using Versafine Black Onyx ink, then cut them out using the matching dies.

The party balloon panel was mounted onto a Candy Necklace card stock panel, then onto the white card stock card base. To finish, I selected my sentiments and and glued them to the card.
