Hi Creative Friends,
We are excited to introduce you to our new guest JB (IG: inkblissbyjb). She loves card making and has a super fun Halloween card to share with us today. She is using the cute and scary Halloween Train by Pretty Pink Posh.
I also cut a strip of Bristol smooth 1/2” W by 8 1/2″ L for the road and ink blended with distress oxide Hickory Smoke and Black Soot. I splattered with Hickory Smoke with a little water along with Black Sumi ink.
I stamped all the images with the help of an Misti onto Spectrum Noir Cardstock. I used Memento Tuxedo black ink and the Pink Fresh Studio Stamp Press. Then, colored with Copic markers. Here is a list of the colors I used.
• Engine – V04, V15, V17, BV17, YG01, YG03, YG2
• Carts – same as engine
• Window – TO, T1
• Wheels – C5, C7, C8, C2, C3, C5
• Large Pumpkin – Y19, YR68, YR07 (eyes) – Y15, Y18, Y35
• Candy corn – Y08, Y18, Y19, Y38,YR04,YR07, YR09, W1, W3, blender
• Small Pumpkins – Y38, YR04, YR07, YR09
• Bats – ink blended the dies with hickory smoke and black soot, then stamped with memento tuxedo black
• Smoke – same as bats
• Links – C2, C3, C5
• Tracks – same as links
• Ghost – C2, C3
• Spider – C2, C3, C5
Now on to assemble, I used Gina K tape runner for the road. When I was happy with the placement of all these pieces, I used Press’n Seal to hold in place. I used Tombow liquid glue for the images.
I embossed the sentiment using an anti-static powder bag, Versamark, and white embossing powder. Then, mounted the panel using my tape runner to a white Neenah 110lb card stock card base measuring 8 3/4 L by 7 1/2 W and scored.
For the final touch, I carefully added Diamond Stickles with a pin to the webs on the train. You can find supplies listed below.
I enjoyed sharing my card with you and hope you found something inspiring!
Happy Crafting!
