A Bit of Paradise

A Bit of Paradise

Hi Creative Friends,

Summer is coming and Dana Kirby is here today sharing an awesome card design that is chocked full of summery tropical leaves. She used the new A Bit of Paradise turnabout stamp from Concord & 9th to create the fun and colorful background. Then finished it off with a few cutouts and cheery sentiments using the matching die set.

Take a look below at how she made it! Then, be sure to pop over to her blog to see more of her wonderful creations.

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am excited to be back sharing a card that uses A Bit of Paradise set from Concord & 9th. This is a turnabout stamp set along with a set of dies that is perfect for your summertime cards and beyond.

I started my card by using the Bit of Paradise turnabout stamp along with my Misti to create my card panel. I used Concord & 9th ink in Sprout, Nectar, Tidepool, and Sea Glass (see all the supplies below) for my stamping. Next, I trimmed my panel down and mounted it onto a Tidepool cardstock mat.

I then stamped my sentiment with the Bit of Paradise stamp set (and VersaMark ink) onto a piece of Sprout cardstock. I heat-set the sentiment with white embossing powder and used the rectangle frame die from the Bit of Paradise set to cut it out. Lastly, I used a few of the leaves included in the Bit of Paradise die set to die-cut a few coordinating leaves to use as accents for my card.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope I inspired you to give the new A Bit of Paradise stamp and die set a try! I know you will love them!!

Enjoy your day,

Dana
