A Spring Garden Of Tulips For You

A Spring Garden Of Tulips For You

HI Crafty Friends,

We are sharing a cheerful card that features cute little tulips from the Garden of Blessings stamp and die set by Papertrey Ink- Ink To Paper. I just love all the flowers and stems in the set. You can create so many delightfully fresh looks for Spring.

Papertrey Ink-Ink To Paper makes it easy to make a fun card. This one starts with stamping the flowers onto Neenah white card stock using a few of my favorite ink colors from Papertrey Ink and a stamp positioner to ensure a good impression. I used Bright Buttercup, Lemon Tart, Hibiscus Burst, Sweet Blush, and Raspberry Fizz.

There are several leaf stamps in this set so I stamped the different ones with either New Leaf or Pinefeather ink, then flicked on a little green with a Copic marker, YG03. Others I stamped on Easter Grass card stock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Next, with a piece of 110lb. Neenah white card stock, I cut out the Sunburst Frame and kept it all intact. At the same time, I cut a larger panel from the Sweet Blush Bitty Big patterned paper by Papertrey Ink.

Before I add the top to the card base, I have a few things left to do to build up the top. First I added a foam backing to the patterned paper, then added the Sunburst panel. A strip of Spring Moss Bitty Big paper was added and the flowers and leaves were mounted on top.

Woohoo! I’m almost done. With just adding a few little accents, I would call it done! So, I stamped the sentiment on a white card stock strip, wrapped some pink, fun ‘silly string’ around the assembled top and adhered a tiny bow and the sentiment.

And there we go – all ready for sending to a favorite friend!
