A Sweet Noel

A Sweet Noel

Hi Creative Friends,

Today we are sharing a festive holiday card using the new and beautiful Festive Corner dies by Concord & 9th. You can use these corners all year round. You can even transform the flowers into Spring or Summer flowers if you like. For now, I am enjoying them as poinsettias, perfect for the holiday season.

I started this card design by creating the base. Using a piece of Pinefeather Bitty Big paper, I cut a plaid A2 panel, then die-cut the beautiful and intricate corner using the die in the Festive Corner set. I just love how decorative the die makes this panel.

When cut, I trimmed the edges a little. then attached the plaid panel to an A2 white cardstock card base.

Next, I cut out a bunch of flowers from the die set, along with some pine needle pieces. I used white card stock for the flowers and a few pine sprigs. I also cut out a few more pine sprigs from Honeysuckle card stock (from the Concord & 9th paper pack) and silver foil card stock (see supply list).

The die set also includes a wonderful scripty Noel. I used white card stock for the shadow of the sentiment and more Honeysuckle paper for the actual sentiment.

With all the pieces cut, I blended Honeysuckle ink in the center of each flower piece, then stacked and glued them together. For the center, I used sparkly gems.

The only thing left to do was act like a florist and arrange the flowers and glue them in place, along with the pine sprigs and the Noel sentiment.

That completes this card design. I want to thank you for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed the card design. Hopefully, iit gave you some inspiration to make your own! It was an easy card and I know I will reach for the corner die to spice up my card design throughout the year.
