A Wild Field of Flowers

A Wild Field of Flowers

Hi there,

You may remember last post where I shared card designs using the new Wild Fields stamp set from Papertrey Ink – Ink To Paper. Well, today here is another way you can use this lovely stamp and die set. To help you with the ins and outs, take a look at the video below.

Here’s the video to view:

This card design uses the Wild Fields stamp and die set, along with a few new stamps and dies that are sure to become favorites. The card starts with a Bitty Big Amethyst Allure background on a white card base, then a Ripe Avocado layer. Next, a white layer and a Nifty Plaid panel stamped in Soft Stone.

Flowers were stamped with all Papertrey Ink ink cubes. I used Harvest Gold and a touch of Summer Sunrise for the flowers and the long, slender purple blooms were stamped in Winter Wisteria and Royal Velvet.  The green stems were stamped with Spring Moss and Ocean Tides. With all the flowers and stems stamped, I cut them out using the matching Wild Fields die set.

A gray frame was created using the new Border Bling: Skinny Diagonal frame die set and a piece of Weathervane card stock.  Then, the flowers and stems were arranged and adhered to the card with glue and/or foam tape.

The only thing left to finish the card was to add the sentiment and a sprinkle of yellow enamel dots. For the sentiment,  the banner from the awesome Papertrey Ink – Ink To Paper Pleasing Envelopes: Special Delivery stamp set was stamped onto a piece of heavy vellum and white heat embossed. ‘Birthday Wishes’ was stamped on the banner with Royal Velvet ink and then cut out with the matching dies. I added the enamel dots and called it done!
