A Winter Wonder + video

A Winter Wonder + video

Hi Crafty Friends,

I am back with another holiday card… ‘cuz you know you can never have enough. This one uses that awesome Winter Wonder stamp and die set. It is great for making a bunch or just one special one. To make another card a little different, just change the color scheme. It is so easy to do!

Check out the video below. It is short and gives you some tips along the way.

This card design starts by making the background with a ‘snow’ mask and blending a few distress oxide inks onto a piece of bristol paper (for easy blending). Then, ‘falling snow’ was added using the snow stamp included in the set and Dr. Ph. Martin Bleedproof white ink.

The trees and deer were cut out of Neenah white card stock using the matching dies. Then the stamps were positioned in a stamp positioner and stamped using a few Papertrey Ink ink cubes, like: True Black, Weathervane, Soft Stone, Fresh Snow, and a touch of Harvest Gold for the moon (or is it a sun? You decide.).

Using a 4.24″ x 7″ white card base (when folded), the background was added with double-stick tape. Then, the whole card was chucked into a stamp positioner and the sentiment was stamped with True Black ink.

After stamping the sentiment, the trees were glued in place and the deer added with a bit of foam tape,

And there you have it, a dramatic holiday card ready for the giving!

I hope you enjoyed this project. If you did, please be sure to view the video and subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks so much!
