Hi Creative Friends,
At long last, I am sharing another video – YAY! This one is all about cake and what could be more wonderful than cake? Maybe it is two card designs featuring the awesome All About Cake stamp and die set by Concord & 9th.
These cards were so much fun to make. I especially liked the pop-up cake inside! In the video below, I demonstrate just how to make this card interactive plus more tips on making these cards. Included in the video too, is the introduction to Concord & 9th’s inks and matching cardstock. They are fabulous!
I am going to let the video do all the talking but here are a few close-ups to give you a better look. Let’s start with the first card with the interactive feature.
Just change up the color scheme to make it this card design truly unisex! I used a few pink, yellow, and orange for my card.
A simple sentiment was added by using the Itty Bitty Basics stamp set by My Favorite Things for the front and inside the bold ‘celebrate’ sentiment really stands out. Isn’t it fun to have a cake pop up as you open the card? I certainly think so!
Next up is a birthday card in blue. It uses a lot of the same elements except this time I made sparklers on the side and a glittery “YAY” to add to the bold Happy Birthday sentiment.
I am so happy to have this new stamp and die set in my stash now. It offers so many different ways to make a celebration or birthday card. I know I will be reaching for it time and time again!
