Geometric Birthday

Hi Creative Friends,

You may think I am crazy but I am having a blast making cards with a gradient-colored background and a clear plastic (or acetate) panel over the top. If you saw my last post, then you know I used texture paste over the clear plastic panel for that card design. This time, I embossed the plastic panel using the Concord & 9th Triangle Background cover plate to give the clear sheet a little pizazz.

My only regret is that the camera doesn’t do it justice – ugh! But, if you need a simple card that has a twist, this card design might be just the thing!

Dad’s Garage

Hi Creative Friends,

Whew! It has been a busy week, but I wanted to squeeze in a project or two before it ends. With Father’s Day right around the corner, today’s card design is devoted to those guys in our life who love hanging out in their garages. The Dad’s Garage stamp and die set by Honey Bee Stamps has all the fun stuff to create a garage-centric themed card. Then, if your guy loves motorcycles as mine does, then this stamp set has an extra bonus by including a vintage motorcycle.

A Bit of Paradise

Hi Creative Friends,

Summer is coming and Dana Kirby is here today sharing an awesome card design that is chocked full of summery tropical leaves. She used the new A Bit of Paradise turnabout stamp from Concord & 9th to create the fun and colorful background. Then finished it off with a few cutouts and cheery sentiments using the matching die set.

Take a look below at how she made it! Then, be sure to pop over to her blog to see more of her wonderful creations.

Daisies In Bloom

Hi Creative Friends,

I have had daisies on the brain lately. They are so cheery and now that summer is on its way, it is a good time to enjoy this delightful flower. To create my little patch of daisies I used a few terrific die sets from Papertrey Ink. They are the Into The Blooms and Into The Blooms II. These two sets are what started it all with Papertrey Ink’s awesome Into The Blooms series.

Before I get started, I want to remind you that if you are aching for a particular stamp or dies, or any other craft supply, don’t miss out on the savings. Our Spring sale ends tonight at midnight so grab your favorites! By the way, all the info and coupon code is below.
