Hi Creative Friends,
Yahoo! We are starting out the week with a bang. We are sharing two charming card designs by Dana Kirby. She has created them using the brand new Spellbinders Vista View collection. No matter what the weather outside, these delightful cards will bring a bright ray of sunshine to you! Take a look and see!
Hi crafty friends! It’s Dana here today and I am back with a couple of cards that use some of the fun new Vista View Window dies and coordinating sets from Spellbinders.
My first card uses the Vista View Window and The Botanical Solarium dies to create my scene. I die cut all of the pieces from white cardstock and used small blending brushes to add color to each of the pieces. I used Concord & 9th ink for my blending, not adding much ink to the brushes as there was residual ink left over from my last project. I just love all the details that The Botanical Solarium die set includes!
I created my card panel by ink blending Aqua Sky and Buttercup ink (behind the window) to my panel. I added a few splatters with reinkers and then set the pieces aside to dry. Next, I used liquid glue and foam adhesive to build my window scene.
Lastly, I used the Sending Sunshine Sentiments set to stamp my sentiment.
Next, I created a clean and simple card with The Botanical Solarium dies. I die cut the pieces from Concord & 9th cardstock and created my flower pot. I attached the flower pot to the center of my panel with foam adhesive to add a little dimension. I then used the Sending Sunshine Sentiments set for my sentiment. Such a quick and easy card to create but I love the simple design. I think these dies would work great to use to create a card set to give as a gift.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards. I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Enjoy your day,
Dana
