Hello,
Winter comes in many colors just as our fabulous blogger Sarita, from The Little Princess Cards blog has shown. For some, it is snowy white and for others, the crimson red of Christmas. Sarita has used the very versatile Penny Black’s “Skyward” stamp to present just that beautifully.
Aren’t these cards simply exquisite? The long, slender size of the card really adds to its grace.
Both cards are stamped using the Skyward stamp by Penny Black. The first card is stamped with VersaMark clear ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Using the emboss resist technique, Sarita blended, with a blending tool, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to give it that soft blue glow. Snowflakes were added that were cut from the lacy Snowflake Duo die set, then covered in glitter. For accent, a silver cord bow and matching button were added. Finally, the sentiment was added by stamping with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
The second card uses the same Skyward stamp and is stamped with Versafine Crimson Red ink, applying more ink in areas than others to give dimension and the sentiment is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.

I like both versions with this beautiful stamp. The snowflake accent is a pretty finishing touch.
So fun to see the two versions and how lovely both are. Thank you for sharing.
Very neat way to decorate and identify wine glass. Love the lilac Penny Black die card.
