Hi Crafty Friends,
There is a brand new Papertrey Ink – Ink To Paper release out and it is packed full of wonderful stamps and dies! Starting today, and in the next few weeks, we will be showcasing a bunch of them. Today, we are featuring the adorable Feathered Friends 8 mini stamp and die set and the Vine Cover Plate. Check out our latest video on the Papertrey Ink Youtube channel below.

Now, here are a few pics to give you a closer look.
The Feathered Friend is of course the star of the show. He is a fat, charming bird that can be created in any color scheme. For this card design, we stuck to a pastel color palette so he was created with pink and blues. The Papertrey Ink ink colors used were: Pale Peony, Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Weathervane, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, and Summer Sunrise.
The background was created by blending a couple of distress oxide inks (Peacock Feathers and Peeled Paint). Then the gorgeous vine pattern was cut from white cardstock and applied on top. To finish off the edges, we also cut a frame from white card stock, using the Skinny Vees frame set.
Tiny flowers were stamped and cut using the Tiny Blooms stamp and die set, another new set this release. There are so many flowers, leaves, and sentiments in this set that you can use it a million different ways.
The Feathered Friend bird was mounted with foam tape on a slender oval found in the Its A Sign: Hanging Frames die set and the branch a flowers are nestled in among the bird.
