Hi Creative Friends,
Dana Kirby (IG: @dkirbystamps) has brought us loads of festive fun today with her latest card design. It features Fiona: the dancin’ witch by Spellbinders. As always, Dana has made it super cute and it’s interactive too!
Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am back with a fun card that uses the Fiona the Dancin’ Witch dies from Spellbinders. She is a cutie!! She even has interactive legs- and they can be made to swing back and forth, so fun!
I started my card by using the Fiona the Dancin’ Witch dies to die cut all of the pieces from Papertrey Ink cardstock. Colors used: True Black, Limeade Ice, Amethyst Allure, and Orange Zest. Next, I assembled the witch attaching the pieces together with liquid glue and keeping the legs separate.
I then added foam adhesive to the back of the witch making sure to leave an opening for the movement of her legs. I also added a small foam circle to the opening of her legs to hold them in place.
I attached my witch to a mini slimline card panel that I ink blended with Amethyst Allure ink. I also used the ink pad and a little water to add a few splatters to the panel for added detail. For my sentiment I used the Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamp set and Sentiment Strips dies from Pretty Pink Posh.
The card panel measures 3×5.75 inches and the overall card measures 3.25×6 inches.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. This adorable little witch was so fun to create and I just love her dancing legs!!
Enjoy your day,
Dana
