Fresh Picked Buttercups by Dana

We are thrilled to share a beautiful card design by Dana Kirby. Once again, she has knocked it out of the park with her bright, perfectly coordinated colors, and design. She is using a brand new die set by Spellbinders called Fresh Picked Buttercups and boy, is it gorgeous! Take a look!

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and it’s good to be back sharing a card with you all. My card today uses the Fresh Picked Buttercups dies from Spellbinders. I just love these bold floral dies from Spellbinders. Their latest release is full of amazing new products! You can find them all here: Spellbinders New Arrivals.

I started my card by die-cutting the florals and foliage with the Fresh Picked Buttercups die set. This set includes 10 cutting dies to cut all of your images. I used Concord & 9th cardstock for all of my die-cutting (Dragonfruit, Sweet Pea, Lemon Grass, Avocado, and Blueberry). Once my florals and stems were assembled I attached them to a Blueberry card panel with liquid glue. I chose to create a full pattern with the images though they can also be used individually for even more options.

Next, I used the You Are Everything Sentiments Press Plate and Die Set for my sentiment. I used the BetterPress Letterpress System and Cosmic Sky ink to press the sentiment onto a piece of Lemongrass cardstock. I then die-cut the Happy Birthday sentiment with a piece of Avocado cardstock and attached it behind to create a shadow. Lastly, I attached my sentiment to my card panel with foam adhesive. I love that this set includes sentiments for lots of different occasions, and they can be die-cut at once, with one large die.
