Gentle Christmas Berries

Gentle Christmas Berries

Hi Creative Friends,

I am sharing another Christmas card that I had so much fun making! First, I love the new Gentle Berries Stem Layering Dies by Concord & 9th and Kristina Werner. These dies are so easy to use to create a festive card.  You also have the bonus of being able to use them in so many ways.

This is a super simple card to make! The berry sprig does all the work for you. The hardest thing to determine is how you want to arrange the sprig(s)!

This die set has two separate dies. One is an outline and the other a background die. With this in mind, I cut one background berry sprig from Jawbreaker green cardstock and the outline one from white cardstock. I could have continued to cut different colors of red or pink cardstock for the berries but I chose the easy route and colored the round berries cutouts with a few Copic markers (R…..).

With the pieces cut, I glued the white outline sprig on top of the Jawbreaker background sprig and added the colored berries.

Next was the sentiment. The new Merry Greetings Builder stamp and die set is awesome for this. There are so many different stamps and dies in the set making it a “go-to” set for many holiday projects.

For this project, I chose to cut a white cardstock background for the Merry Christmas sentiment and the words in Peppermint red cardstock. From there, I glued the two together.

The only thing left to do was to make an A2 card stock card base and cut an A2-sized Peppermint red card panel. The panel was adhered to the front of the card base and the sprig arranged, then glued in place and the Merry Christmas sentiment added to the top.

A few red gems were added for a splash of sparkle and VIOLA! the card is done!

It was amazing how fast this card came together and the result was a bright and festive card for the holidays. I think this design is perfect for making a bunch of cards for the holidays!
