Hats Are Flying In This Graduation Card Design

Hats Are Flying In This Graduation Card Design

HI Everyone,

I am popping in to share another way you can use the Hats Off stamp and die set by Papertrey Ink, an Ink To Paper collection. Just like our first card design in this series, it comes with a video too!

You may remember our last post we featured a dramatic black and white graduation card. Here is another way to have some fun with this stamp and die set.

In collaboration with Papertrey Ink’/Ink To Paper, we have created a video of this project. You can view is below or on Papertrey’s YouTube channel, It has step-by-step instructions – give it a look!

This card design combines the colors of gray and purple. I have always liked this color combination but the cool thing is that you can use any color combination. It would work great using school colors!

For the stamping, I used a stamp positioning tool, a few inks from Papertrey Ink and the stamp set, of course. You can see all the supplies used in the list below.

Papertrey Ink offers patterned paper that color coordinates with their inks so I used their Bitty Big Amethyst Allure patterned pattern since that is one of the colors used in the card. I also used one of their new die sets (already a real favorite of mine!), Love To Layer: Notched die to create an interesting shape to the top of the card.

By the way, the other ink colors used were: Delicata Silver, Papertrey Ink Royal Velvet, Amethyst Allure, Weathervane, and Soft Stone.

The tag was created by using the Beautiful Bouquet die, another new addition, along with a little neutral twine.

I hope you enjoyed the video. There is still one more to come. It will give you a totally different way to look at this stamp and die set!

Oh, by the way, if you didn’t catch our first video in this series, you can go direct by clicking here
