Hi Creative Friends,
I am delighted to be sharing a sweet card design using the brand new Hello Wishes stamp and die set by Concord & 9th. This set has pretty little flowers and some lovely sentiments, not to mention a large cut-out sentiment too.
I started with an A2- sized white card stock card base, then cut another A2 white panel. With this panel, I cut the bottom edge using the beautiful Elegant Edges die by Papertrey Ink. This panel alone will make quite a statement!
To get my card base ready for the next steps, I mounted a Berry Sorbet cardstock panel on the front, then added the elegant edges white panel to the top.
Next, I started on the lovely flowers in the Happy Wishes set. I didn’t have just the right colors I was looking for in my colored card stock stash so I created my own by swiping small sections of watercolor paper with a variety of ink colors. I am in love with Pinkfresh Studio’s ink cube collection so I used a few of those – check out the supply list below to see the collections used.
Once I had enough different botches of color on my watercolor paper, I cut out all the flowers and leaves I thought I would need… and a few more for good measure!
Now it was just a matter of adding foam squares to the back of the flowers, arranging and mounting them to the card front. The leaves were added with a bit of glue, along with the charming berry sprigs.
The only thing left to do was to white heat emboss my simple sentiment.
The card is done and I am happy with the outcome… I hope you are too! ♥
