Hi friends! It’s Dana here today with two Christmas cards that use the new Holiday Botanical Background stencils from Pinkfresh Studio.

This is a four-pack of stencils that are so easy to use. I used traditional Christmas colors for both of my cards today but there are so many possibilities with these stencils.

For my first card, I used Papertrey Ink dye ink in Limeade Ice, Green Parakeet, New Leaf, and Pure Poppy. Each stencil in the set is so easy to use and lines up perfectly. Once I added the Pure Poppy ink for the berries I kept the stencil in place and added a little White Glitz Glitter Gel for some added sparkle. Lastly, I added some splatters to my card panel with a little gold watercolor paint.

For my sentiments, I used the Pinkfresh Studio Perfect Sentiments: Holiday set. This is one large stamp and die set, that stamp and die cut everything at one time. Such a great way to make a bunch of sentiments at once for all of your holiday crafting needs.

For my next card, I decided to use Distress Oxide ink with the stencils. The oxide ink allowed me to blend on a piece of Blueberry Sky cardstock, which I thought would be a nice way to show the stencils being used in another way.

The colors I used were Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Lucky Clover, and Candied Apple. Once I was finished with the stencils, I added a few splatters with white and gold paint. Lastly, I added a Pure Poppy shadow behind my sentiment. I then attached my sentiment to my card panel with foam adhesive to give it a little extra dimension.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope I inspired you to give layering stencils a try. They are so easy to use and I think this set would be perfect for mass producing your Christmas cards.

Enjoy your day,

Dana
