Home for The Holidays by Dana Kirby

We are starting out this week with a bang. We are so happy to share an awesome project by Dana Kirby. Dana is featuring the new and popular Home for the Holidays stamp and die set by Concord & 9th. The die set creates adorable houses and helps you create a wonderful Home for the Holidays scene of your own.

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today with a Christmas card that uses the fun new Home For The Holidays set for Concord & 9th. I fell in love with this set when it was released and couldn’t wait to use it!

I started my card by doing all of my die cutting with the Home For The Holidays Stack Dies and assembling all of the pieces. I used Papertrey Ink cardstock for all of my die-cutting. The colors I used are Pure Poppy, New Leaf, AquaMist, Weathervane, True Black, and White.

Next, I began assembling my card. I used a piece of Aqua Mist cardstock for my back panel. I then used Aqua Mist ink and stamped some snowflakes onto the panel with the Home For The Holidays Stamp Set. Once I was finished stamping I added my snowbanks, houses, and trees to create my scene. Lastly, I framed my card panel with the Papertrey Ink Skinny Stitched Frame die to give the edges of my card a clean finished look.
