Merry Mistletoe

Merry Mistletoe

Hi Everyone,

I am sharing a video that features the very versatile Nature’s Garland stamp set by Penny Black. It is a sequel to my last video. As you can see, I just can’t get enough of this stamp set. It can be used in so many ways, I know I will be reaching for it time and again!

You can view the video by clicking the link below. After you have had a chance to take a look, let me know which project you liked best – this one or the last one.

This card design has a holiday feel with the printed script background and the cutout mistletoe. The pic below will give you a closer look at the details.

I love the wispy branches in the background and the mistletoe is so iconic for the holidays. I made it by stamping it twice with archival ink, then painting the leaves and berries with distress inks. I used green, red, and brown archival (check out the supply list – I have a selection you can choose from). Then, to paint the leaves I used Rustic Wilderness, Forest Moss, and Crushed Olive. The berries were painted with Wild Honey, Abandoned Coral, Candied Apple, and a dash of Aged Mahogany. All of these colors are distress inks.

The Jumbo Bauble die set has a few beautiful bows. I cut one out of red cardstock and attached it at the top. The sentiment is from the awesome Jolly Snippets stamp set.

This completes my card design. I hoped you enjoyed it and the video. If you did, we would love it if you would subscribe to our Youtube channel if you haven’t already! Thank you so much! See you next time!
