Winsor & Newton Gum Arabic

Gum Arabic (75ml – 2.5 fl oz.) by Winsor & Newton.  A pale colored solution that controls the spread of wet color, reduces staining & slows drying.  Add to watercolors to slow down the drying time of the paint giving you slightly longer to work on creating your image or working wet into wet. It adds further transparency to watercolors and increases the gloss. Should not be used directly from the bottle but can be added to your water or mixed with paint prior to application.  Dilute with water as required.

You can also add a few drops to your calligraphy ink to change the viscosity.
