Say Hello With A Bright Bunch of Pink Flowers

Say Hello With A Bright Bunch of Pink Flowers

Hi Crafty Friends,

I am excited to share a new stamp and die by Papertrey Ink, an Ink To Paper collection called Floral Delicacies. It features a two-part stamp to add dimension and color to each flower. You will see what I mean in the video which you can view below.

The two-part flower stamps really give you a lot of opportunities to express yourself with any color combinations you like. I hope you will give the video a look and see what color combinations you might like for your own creation.

As promised, here is the video showing all the ins and outs of making this card design.

The focal point of this card design is, of course, the flowers. I used a few inks from Papertrey Ink for the flowers. They are Berry Sorbet, Lavender Moon, Pale Peony, and Raspberry Fizz. For the top embossed layer, I used white, Fuchsia Fusion, and Tickled Pink embossing powder with White Satin Pearl by Hero Arts for the centers. For a better look, check out the close-up below.

Next were the leaves. They were created by using the matching leaf dies, cutting them from Juicy Pear green card stock, and accenting them with Ripe Avocado ink.

I used a white card base, then added a 1 1/2″ strip of Soft Stone Bitty Big paper on the bottom and a piece of white cardstock for the top half of the card. Before adhering the white cardstock piece, I added a dot pattern by using Weathervane and Soft Stone ink and MFT’s Confetti stencil. To pull the pinks of the flowers into the base, I also blended on a bit of Pale Peony ink on top of the dots, stopped about half way up this panel. The panel then adhered to the top half of the card base.

The “Hello” sentiment, from the stamp set, was stamped and heat embossed with Gunmetal embossing powder by Ranger.

Then, a 1″ strip of Fuchsia paper was added to the top of the striped paper and the flowers arranged on top, along with the leaves.

The card was now done and ready to send to a favorite person… hopefully, it will brighten her day!

I hope you enjoyed this video and project. If you did, please consider subscribing to our Youtube channel. We would be over-the-moon if you did – thanks so much ♥.
