Hi Crafty Friends,
I am back on the blog today, sharing a sweet holiday card using a few new favorites from Concord & 9th. I used the adorable Tree Lot die and the Berries and Boughs embossing folder as the main focal points. As a bonus, you can whip this card up in no time!
I started with an A2 Kraft card stock card base.
Next, using a Spellbinders Pink Sand card stock card panel, I embossed it using the Concord & 9th Berries and Boughs embossing folder. Then, using a green Tombow pen, colored the pine sprigs and the berries with a red Tombow pen. The panel was trimmed and popped up with a foam backing, then added to the front of the card base.
Using the Papertrey Ink North Pole Mail: Postage Stamp Frame Post Card dies, a panel was cut from white card stock. Then, the Season’s Greetings sentiment was stamped on the panel using first a Poppy ink cube. To get a darker red, I stamped the sentiment again with Wildberry (see all the supplies in the supply list below). A foam backing was added and the panel adhered to the front of the card.
A few trees were cut out using the Tree Lot background die and a few scraps of paper then mounted on the card front.
Finally, two red bows from the Penny Black Red Roses die set were cut from red card stock, stacked, glued together, and added it to the card front as the last step.
Now, wasn’t that an easy card? I love the result! ♥
