Sending Sunshine

Hi Creative Friends,

We are sharing the cutest card design by Dana Kirby (IG: @dkirbystamps). This design features a few adorable summer stamp and die sets from Honey Bee Stamps new release.

Hi crafty friends! It’s Dana here today and I am back with another fun summer themed card that uses the “must have” Lovely Layers: Beach Houses die set from Honey Bee Stamps.

I started my card by making my card panel with the Palm Beach cover plate and the Palm Beach stencils. The stencils set includes six stencils that coordinate with the cover plate to help build your scene. I used Concord & 9th ink in: Aqua Sky, Wheat, Buttercup, Parsley, Sprout, Avocado, Pebble, Nutmeg and Dragonfruit for my blending. I love the detail that the cover plate adds to the overall design.

Next, I used the Lover Layers: Beach Houses die set to create my three beach huts and trees. I used Concord & 9th cardstock in: Aqua Sky, Juniper, Buttercup, Watermelon, Ballet Slipper, Honeysuckle, Wheat, Parsley and Nutmeg for all of my die cutting. Once my houses and tree were finished I attached them to my card panel with foam adhesive.

For my sentiment, I used the Sunkissed Sumer stamp set. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and heat set it with white embossing powder. I then used the Sunskissed Summer dies to cut it out. Lastly, I attached the sentiment to my card panel to finish my card.
