Last time we shared a delightful Hello Friend card featuring a colorful plaid background made using Concord & 9th’s Markered Turnabout. Well, we loved that background so much, we couldn’t stop at just one card design. This time we used cheery pinks and yellows and made a fun birthday card. We also used the new, very clever, Bitty Banners stamp and die set.

I have been having the best time creating with the beautiful Four Petal Thank You Floral die set by Spellbinders. There are so many ways you can use this set! I chose to make a floral display that was bursting with colors and flowers. I was having so much fun with this set that I created the same flowers on two different background colors. I rarely create two cards the same, but I couldn’t help myself! You will have to let me know which version you like the best by commenting on our blog or Instagram. I am so excited to share a super fun and special project. It used the brand new In The Pocket die from Papertrey Ink and also gives you a chance to showcase your favorite flower. In my case, that would be the rose, so I chose the beautiful Enchanting Roses stamp and die set again by Papertrey Ink.

For today’s project, I am taking a page out of Yana Smakula‘s playbook and using a dark background to accent this beautiful rose image called Crimson Blush by Penny Black. Yana does amazing work and I just love her use of dark backgrounds to create drama to her card designs.

I was in the mood for a vintage-style botanical card design. I settled on using the beautiful Butterfly Charmer stamp by Penny Black for my butterflies. There are so many gorgeous butterflies in this collage-style stamp to choose from that it was a perfect choice.

I am popping in to share a few wonderful dies and wax seals to give your card designs a special accent and pizazz! I used the beautiful Sealed Wildflowers die set by Spellbinders, along with one of their charming wax Happy Birthday seal. Hi Creative Friends,
Today I am having a little birthday fun with adorable critters. I chose a couple of my favorites. One from the Cheerful Critters by Penny Black and the other from My Favorite Things Friends stamp set. I don’t think you can ever have enough birthday cards at the ready and I like to have a variety of styles of birthday cards so that I can find just the right one to suit my birthday recipient.
