Beautiful Petals – Two Ways

Hi Creative Friends,

I have been having the best time creating with the beautiful Four Petal Thank You Floral die set by Spellbinders. There are so many ways you can use this set! I chose to make a floral display that was bursting with colors and flowers. I was having so much fun with this set that I created the same flowers on two different background colors. I rarely create two cards the same, but I couldn’t help myself! You will have to let me know which version you like the best by commenting on our blog or Instagram. Crimson Blush Beauty

For today’s project, I am taking a page out of Yana Smakula‘s playbook and using a dark background to accent this beautiful rose image called Crimson Blush by Penny Black. Yana does amazing work and I just love her use of dark backgrounds to create drama to her card designs.

Beautiful Cut Flowers with Happy Birthday Seal

I am popping in to share a few wonderful dies and wax seals to give your card designs a special accent and pizazz! I used the beautiful Sealed Wildflowers die set by Spellbinders, along with one of their charming wax Happy Birthday seal. A Bold Happy Birthday

Hi Creative Friends,

I am changing the theme today from holiday to birthday – you can never have enough birthday cards, can you?

I fell in love with this bold, color-block Happy Birthday die set from Spellbinders. It helps create a very special birthday greeting. Another great thing about it is that all you have to do is change the color scheme to create a whole different look. Since this card is for a special birthday for a guy, I wanted masculine colors, but I think it would be fantastic with each letter a different color or choose more feminine colors. Either way, I love the look you get with one simple die set!
