A Trio of Laurel Cards by no other than Laurel Beard

Hi Crafty Friends,

We are back again after the long weekend with a beautiful project from Laurel Beard of Simply Cardmaking. We are always excited to have Laurel visit! She has soooo many fun and creative things to share.  We hope you enjoy this one using the  Laurel Frame stamp and die set by Concord & 9th.

Howdy folks!

I’m back today with the folks at The Foiled Fox bringing you 3 cards using the Laurel Frame stamp set and die from Concord & 9th. This is a versatile stamp and die as it features multi-layering for the stamps and the dies. You stamp the wreath base in a light color, detailed layer in a darker color. You do the same with the flowers. The layering techniques really adds dimension with no bulk! You can use this stamp as a one layer stamp or you can add the dies and create multiple layers. Let’s take a look at the first one! A SHAKER!! I used the inside of the wreath die to create an opening within the frame so we can add shaker bits! I also used the flower die so I could pop up those flowers.

I hand-scribbled in some lines there to the left and die cut the sentiment from the same coordinating set to finish off the first card! Seafoam/Aquatini were used for the leaves and Shea Butter/Bellini were used for the flowers.

The second card reflects the way you can cut out the frame (not the inside) and also the flower dies. I swiped some Shea Butter on the background panel before adhering the Laurel Frame over the top! 🙂 Bellini/Flirty Fuchsia were used for the frame and Rose Petals/Polished were used for the flowers along with a heavy coating of Clear Wink of Stella.

And last, all stamping. No dies here. But look at the dimension from the layering! Think of all the different coloring combinations you can do!! I did pop in a heart so I guess technically, it’s not one layer… Hakuna Matata. Royal Treatment/Juniper Mist for the frame and Bellini/Flirty Fuchsia for the flowers.

You can also turn the frame to place the trio of flowers anywhere.

Isn’t this Laurel Frame stamp set and coordinating die amazing??? You can pick it up at The Foiled Fox now!
