Hi Creative Friends,
I am popping in to share a tranquil winter village scene with you today. I used the new Alexandra Renke Small Town Houses cut and emboss folder. This is an ingenious folder that creates a detailed impression of the houses and cuts them out at the same time!
This is another easy make. I started with a 4.5″ x 6″ white card stock card base and a matching white card stock panel. The panel was embossed using Alexandra Renke’s Light Snowfall embossing folder, and then adhered to the card base.
The houses and chapel were cut using the Small Town Houses cut & emboss folder. It was wonderful to be able to emboss and cut the village pieces all in one motion!
I lightly colored the houses with a few distress inks (see supply list below). Then, I cut a few trees from another great die set from Alexandra Renke, Fir Trio 3.
To assemble, I cut a hillside and added it to the card front. Village houses and churches were added, along with trees.
I used the Concord & 9th Classic Holiday Greetings for the sentiment. This set includes this lovely banner in addition to shadow sentiments.
As you can tell, I love the new Renke goodies. Their simple designs and quality stamps, dies, and embossing folders are awesome! I hope you are enjoying them too! ♥
