Wavy Lines + Sarita = Perfection!

Wavy Lines + Sarita = Perfection!

Hi there,

We are so privileged to have Sarita Simmonett of Little Princess Cards share some of her beautiful creations. She has the most creative eye for her projects. We just love how she can turn any stamps and supplies into little treasures.  Take a look at her latest. It is super easy to make, uses little supplies but yet it is soooo pretty! We love the colors!

Miss You Card by Sarita
Here is my latest creation for you. I don’t think I’ve ever created such a bright card but I love it.

The background was created by the “smooshing” method. This is done by first stamping some Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry distress ink straight onto my largest acrylic block. Then, adding a little water just to loosen the color a little and create a wash of color effect.  Next, I randomly pressed the card base onto the block in a few places to give it a random look.

After it was dry, using Versafine black ink, I stamped the Wavy Lines Cover-A-Card stamp over the top. Since the Wavy Lines is nearly 6″ square, it covered my whole card front in one stamping.

I then just added a Prima flower, some yellow satin ribbon and a sentiment by Paula Pascual of Paula Pascual Designs but you can use any sentiment stamp you like. Very simple and quick!
