Wooley the lamb at the Fair by Rosali

Hi Crafty Friends,

Hooray! We have exciting news! We have added a ton of stamps by Stacey Yacula ad Purple Onion Designs and who better to help us introduce them to you then Rosali of I Love Stamping blog and Instagram: @ilovestamping.

Rosali creates the most adorable card designs. Here she has made an AWESOME card with the new Sunny Meadow Fair collection. Take a look!

I’m very happy to be back again with a card for @foiledfox!! And they have awesome news: You can now buy @purpleoniondesigns stamps in their shop, whoop! 🙂

I started with a square 5 1/2 inches card base (when folded) made from Neenah Solar white cardstock and set that aside. I also cut a separate 5″ square panel of Neenah white card stock and the same size piece of masking paper. From the masking paper, I cut a large circle in the center using a circle die. The circle was set aside for another time and only used the remaining ‘frame’ to smooth over the panel so the edges are protected. Now I could color the center section and not worry that I would get ink and Copic markers on the outside edges.

With the edges of the card base protected, I stamped the Fairgrounds stamp with Copic friendly ink and ink blended the sky and grass using distress inks, Shaded Lilac and Twisted Citron. The next step was to color the Ferris wheel and other adorable fair tents and trees with Copic markers.

One a separate piece of Neenah card stock, I stamped the Wooley lamb and colored it with Copic markers too. I then fussy cut out the lamb.

With all the coloring done, I peeled off the masking paper, revealing a perfect circle filled with a delightful scene. I then adhered the panel to the card base with some foam tape and popped up the lamb with a piece of foam tape too.  To finish the card, I added the white heat embossed “Hello” sentiment to the center of the Ferris wheel.

Isn’t this a cutie patootie!!
